Dr Metodi Abadzhiev
Dr Abadzhiev believes in lifelong learning, so he acquires the title Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMedSc) and Professor as he aims to deliver the very best treatment to his patients.
Along with his outstanding career as an implantologist, Dr Abadzhiev is a dedicated Head of the Department at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Varna and a trusted member of the editorial board of the Journal of IMAB, Quintessence International, Scripta Scientifica Medicinae Dentalis and the Journal of Biotechnology & Biotechnological Equipment.
He is a respectable member of the Bulgarian Dental Association (BDA), the Bulgarian Society of Periodontology, the Bulgarian Association of Oral Implantology, the Bulgarian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (BAED), the Balkan Stomatological Society (BaSS), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the German Society of Oral Implantology (DGOI), and the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO).
In 2012 and 2013, Dr Abadzhiev and his team won first place at the International Dental Awards 'Smile of the Year' for their clinical case treatment with dental implants.
Education and training
Early in 1993, Assoc. Prof. Dr Metodi Abadzhiev, MD, graduates as a dentist at the Medical University of Plovdiv. And to be honest, his academic career is impressive by anyone’s standards.
His outstanding practice begins with a specialization in Germany, followed by another 23 qualifications in implantology and prosthetics in Germany, Italy, Austria, and Lichtenstein, and more than 30 in Bulgaria.
His degree in Prosthetics, Dr Abadzhiev received, in 1997, and in 2011 he received his degree in Implantology at the German Society of Oral Implantology.
