Changing the world, one smile at a time

Gery

A wanderer by heart, growing up in Smolyan – a town sprawling in Southern Rhodope Mountains – Gery was always curious about the idea of travelling and exploring. Inspired to turn her passions into works, she took her studies in the tourism industry. That's just the beginning of an exciting life journey.

She's soon to cross the world by sea, sailing on three cruise lines, where she worked for nearly six years and visited over fifty countries. On her extensive travels, Gery has the chance to meet people from more than sixty nationalities.

Despite her visits to many different continents, Gery was eventually drawn back to Italy. During her most recent trip to the Riviera, she decides to follow love and anchor on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.

Since then, Gery has completed another course of study in tourism, and made her name as a lead sales and customer care agent in the biggest inbound tour operator in the Marche region while proving as a successful entrepreneur in businesses and startups.

Travelling inwards is another one of her specialities. The more unusual aspects of life made Gery a certified teacher of Louise Hay’s method, a K-Power instructor, and an EFT practitioner to help others live healthier, more conscious, and fulfilling life.

Gery spends her time living in Bulgaria and Italy with her partner Gianfranco and son Alessandro.

Gery joins Dentaround as a tailor-made travel specialist to plan the best possible patient experience when travelling for dental care abroad.

Education and Experience

The desire to explore travel in depth has led Gery to her academic path. She's a Bachelor's graduate in Tourism from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and a Master's with honours in Tourism Economics and Management from the University of Bologna.

Skillfully, Gery mixes her extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry with her many interests – where she's also professionally advancing – to create and deliver a unique holistic approach to bettering lives.

60 second interview
Most likely to say

"Life's too short to spend it in doubts, hesitations and semi-smiles. So grab the opportunities, be bold and make a masterpiece of your life."

What's your favourite aspect of dental tourism?

"No question, the transformational part is my favourite. You're one person when you leave your country willing to improve your dental health and physical aspect but eventually, you come back home as an entirely better version of you, in all possible aspects."

Useful advice?

"Each time you're facing a difficult decision, ask yourself two main questions: Is this a decision that is loving for me, that nurtures me (me and no one else)? Is this right for me now?"
